Eid Greetings

Eid Greetings

Muslims across the United Kingdom will be celebrating Eid-al-Adha on the 12th September, which commemorates Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son to God. This festival also marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. Guanabana is a restaurant that only serves halal meat and we are proud of joining the muslim community of Camden in celebrating this special day.

What are you doing for Eid-al-Adha?

Speaking to mosques around the local Camden area ,staff at Guanabana have learnt that local mosques will be opening for study days or lectures on aspects of Islam and Islamic history, whilst celebrating the day with a communal meal. We have immersed ourselves in muslim culture this week in preparation for Eid-al-Adha and we welcome you to join us at Guanabana.
